Galina Andracchio is an international competitor and performer. She has competed in the Russian, European, and the United States.  

Galina has coached Russian and American competitive dancers for more than 20 years. This experience is what she brings  to her students every day.

Qualifications:

Trainer in every category: pro/am (professional/amateur) – juvenile – junior – youth – amateur – professional.

Former Soviet Union 10-Dance Champion (Ballroom & Latin).

U.S.A. Standard Finalist.

Registered professional with NDCA, National Dance Council of America, The United States Governing Body for Dancesport Championships as granted by the World Dance and Dancesport Council.

Title:
Laureate of the Union Amateur Artistic Works.
Laureate All Soviet Union Ballroom Dance Competitions.

Competitions - Constitution State Challenge Championships, USA Regional Dance Sport and Dancers Cup Circuit Event (CT), Northeast Open Dance Sport Invitational (CT), Garden State Dance Sport Championships, United States Regional Dance Sport Championship (NJ), Ohio Star Ball, Tri-Star Ball (CT), Empire State Dance Sport Championships (NY), NJ State Open Championships (NJ), Commonwealth State Competition (MA).

Stage performer and choreographer – “The Ridgefield Play House” Ridgefield CT, annually.

Trainer of dance instructors for Bethel High School, CT.

Teaching Ballroom dance technique to adults and children. Teaching competition strategies to amateur couples.

Experience in Russia:

Owner of the Modern Ballroom Dance school (1987-1993).
Dance couples of the school participated in rating championships among dance schools (studios) of Moscow and International Competitions.   

Organizer and Judge of the Moscow Federation Dance Sport Championships in junior, juvenile, youth, and amateur categories.

Organizer and performer of showcase competitions for representatives of Eastern-European countries at the Council Economical Mutual Aid Organization.

Competitor – local, regional and international competitions:  Moscow, Regional, and All Soviet Union Rating Championships.

Stage performer: Concert Hall “Russia”, the Palace of Culture “Bauman” and Concert Hall of Olympic Village (1985) and various Sports Arenas’, a member of the Dance ensemble “Stile” at the Moscow City Festival of Ballroom Dance Ensembles (1986).

1983 – 1989    Master in Engineering, Moscow Aviation Institute (Mechanical Engineer and designer of engines for Russian military aircrafts).

1989-1991         Moscow State Institute of Culture.
