Congratulations to Mike Dufffy on his first place blue ribbons!!!

Mike competed in the Empire State Dancesport Championships Competition at the Crowne Plaza, Times Square, Manhattan on August 14th.

Michael first came to our studio after attending Arthur Murray Dance studios. He originally wanted to only learn Quickstep, and he progressed  so well, that he wanted to compete in all International Standard Ballroom styles.

Mike worked very hard and practiced daily on his own. The Empire State was Mike's first Silver level series of dances at a recognized multi-state competition.
Competitors came from all of New England, NY, and NJ.

Mike danced all 5 competitive International Standard Dances: Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep and Foxtrot. He performed confidently and smoothly in front of a full house.

We are very proud of him.
