Congratulations to students Mike Dufffy and Dr. George Lentini for their first place ribbons at the competition!

Michael came to our studio from Arthur Murray Dance studios to learn Quickstep. He ended up wanting to compete in dance. Mike worked very hard and practicied daily on his own. This was Mike's first competition in Newcomer and pre Bronze level at a recognized multi State competition. Competitors came from all of New England, NY, and NJ. Mike danced International Slow Waltz, Quickstep and Foxtrot in front of a full house, and with great confidence. 

Dr. Lentini, started his competitions 5 years ago with International Latin, moving up to Gold level as a Showcase Dancer. He decided to switch to Ballroom (International Standard) 2 years ago, and this was his first Silver level competition. He also competed in Closed Scholorship, dancing all five dances:Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep.
